Hello dear readers! Whoo, it’s been quite a year. Where to begin? Ahhh, let’s begin by me, your Divorce Guru, wishing you a Happy New Year 2010! Woo-hoo! I apologize for not posting for a few weeks. Mucho technical difficulties with the new website. New website, new year. Want to say a BIG thank you to David (my producer at Energy Talk Radio/fabulous friend/interior decorator/partner in all things wonderful and soon to be Burke Williams spa buddy!) Mr. Fab (my former French lover and genius computer entrepreneur), and Mabel (my virtual assistant who I love dearly but have never spoken to!) for hooking up the NEW KimHess.com! Thanks guys! Without you, my readers would be reading my last Tiger Woods post for another two months!
First, some updates about me, Kim Hess Divorce Guru:
1. Your Divorce Guru is not really divorced! I’m a happily married 72 year old white man living in Utah with four wives and a dog. Kidding, I kid! I am divorced…finally. I filed in October of 2007. Divorced in December of 2009. Just in time for the new year. Happy New Year 2010
2. I received a message from a guy on an online dating site. Not that interesting, you’re probably saying. Well get this…his screen name…wait for it, wait for it: “blackmeatbythepound.” Let me repeat it, in case you didn’t get it the first time: black-meat-by-the-pound. Yuck. Does any man on God’s green earth think a woman would respond to them with that screen name? And when he said “blackmeatbythepound” he wasn’t kidding. The guys picture looked like he weighed at least 300 pounds. Kim Hess Divorce Guru will pass.
Okay, so now some helpful hints for the upcoming New Year of 2010 from your Divorce Guru:
1. How can you live the life of your dreams? This question was asked by Mike Dooley who was in “The Secret” who I got to interview on my radio show. Click to listen to the interview. You’ll also hear words of wisdom from my two favorite people in the world…my sons!
2. Something to ponder for your Happy New Year 2010: “That’s when you know life is good…when you’re dancing to the music in your head.”- KHDG (me) Are you, dear reader, dancing to the music in your head? I am. It’s to the tune of Beyonce’s Single Ladies! (Ya know, ’cause I’m a single lady now!)
Here’s to a Divorced and Happy New Year!
