““Be the change you want to see in the world.” Mahatma Gandhi quotes (Indian Philosopher, internationally esteemed for his doctrine of nonviolent protest, 1869-1948)
If we want to change the world, we must change something within ourselves first.”
This quote was said by Jo Dunning as she was being interviewed on “Life Without Limitation” hosted by Markendya on Energy Talk Radio.
As soon as I heard this, I knew that if I want to change the way the world views divorce, I would have to change how I view and deal with divorce, the father of my boys, and my boys. Jo Dunning states during this interview “How can I use this to make me a happier, more fulfilled individual?”
What can you do? Transform it into something magnificent. Any situation no matter how awful, how terrible, how sad, can be turned into something beautiful. Jo Dunning’s situation was that her home was broken into and she was shot with a sawed-off shotgun. My situation was the pain of divorce, abuse, and poverty. For you it may be a loved one dying. Or being diagnosed with cancer. Or rape.
How will you use the situations in your life to make you a happier, more fulfilled individual? Believe me it can be done. Do what feels right to you. You know inside of yourself what you must do. Say hello to the fear and do it anyway.
Much love to you wherever and whoever you are in life right now. Namaste.
