I have nothing enlightening or concious raising to say today friends. All I wanna say is OMG WTF?! Divorce sucks. It doesn’t suck because I want my husband back (…that would be the last reason it sucks!) It sucks because you lose so much control of what goes on in your life and your children’s life.
If you’re like me and split custody with the mother or father of your children, you know you don’t get to say who, or what they are exposed to. Dad doesn’t like your kid’s shoes, he throws them away (yeah, happened to me, I know!). Has a woman or man living w/ them, spending the night, or vacationing with them in the same hotel room, you can’t do a thing about it. You don’t want the kids to listen to adult songs or watch rated R movies…so what. You’re not there.
So, I say WTF! divorce sucks. But you know what…your former spouse probably sucked too, so be glad you’re not married anymore. What are you gonna do? Can’t control everything. So don’t try. Just love your kids when they’re with you, and start thinking that maybe divorce doesn’t suck so much after all…
